Our Parish of Seend now has a Neighbourhood Development Plan. The Seend Community Land & Asset Trust (Seend CLT) is about helping to deliver the local housing policies of your neighbourhood plan and preserving the essential community assets that contribute to our quality of life in our rural parish. The Seend CLT legal form is a Community Interest Company, Company Number 11485428, run by local parish people for parish people. Following a 2017 survey, and distribution of the National Community Land Trust Network's leaflet titled, "Community Land Trusts in a Nutshell" (published below) a Steering Group took advice from, Wiltshire Community Land Trust, an umbrella organisation dedicated to the promotion and implementation of CLTs in Wiltshire, the National CLT Network organisation and Wiltshire's Community First. Membership of the Seend Community Land & Asset Trust is open to all Seend Parishioners from the age of 16 years.
